At least two art lovers wanted my oil painting of Haystack Rock in the rain, so I painted it again. This one is more dramatic; less subtle and uses iridescent paint. The shape of the rock looks different depending on the angle of the sun and I’m always amazed to see the variations from others photos and paintings.
